What this website records

What we record

• A random code for your browser. It is made on your device and kept in this browser's storage, not in a cookie. It isn't stored with your name or number. It tells us when the same browser comes back.
• The pages you open on this website, in order, how far down you scroll, and roughly how long you spend on each one.
• The buttons you press: WhatsApp, call, the catalogue download, and links to other websites.
• Where the visit came from, as a website name only (google.com, for example), or the campaign tag on one of our own links. Never the full address of the page you came from.
• The country you're browsing from, and whether it's a phone or a computer.

Our own team's phones and computers, and Renownmark's, can be marked so their visits aren't counted with customers'. Only a browser marked that way gets a small cookie for it. Yours doesn't.

What we don't record

• Your name, phone number or email.
• Anything you type, or anything you write in WhatsApp.
• Your IP address.

None of this is sent to advertising companies.

The Ref code in WhatsApp messages

When you tap a WhatsApp button here, your message opens with a short code at the end, like Ref: K7P4M2. You can see it before you send, and you can delete it if you'd rather leave it out.

If you do send it, we can see this browser's visits to our website, so we can reply with the right product in mind. We may also note whether your enquiry became a quote or an order, and how you said you found us. After 120 days the code no longer leads back to those visits.

How long we keep it

• Each visit: 180 days. A browser that keeps coming back stays on record until 180 days after its last visit. Your browser also gets a new code after 180 days.
• The link between a Ref code and the pages viewed: 120 days.
• After that we keep only totals, such as how many enquiries came from Google each day, and a short note of each enquiry: the month, where it came from, and whether it became a quote or an order. None of it points back to a browser. These go after about two years.

Who keeps it

This website is looked after for us by Renownmark, who keep these records on Cloudflare's servers. Only Renownmark can open them. If you've sent us a Ref, they may tell our team what you were looking at, so we can help.

Cloudflare, which hosts the website, also counts visits for us without cookies: the pages viewed, the website that sent you, your country, and your type of device and browser. That counter never gets the browser code or the Ref.

Switching it off

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is recorded. Nothing is recorded either when your browser is set to a European time zone. You can also switch it off for this browser here. If you also want what's already recorded deleted, copy the code first.

Asking us to delete it

Email hellorenownmark@gmail.com with the code shown above, or the Ref from your WhatsApp message, and the records linked to it will be deleted.
